With waning and waxing of the tides as the years we walk through.
We are always saying good-bye.
Good-bye to our childhood, to our ever changing friends.
Then there's the different addresses and schools as we grow in
What we hope is OUR adulthood.
To Our parents
That even if we didn't say Good-bye to them heaven said it for us.
But with the Mercies of the promises made in biblical script it will only be
"TILL THEN"
But in Our adulthood we still find we're saying Good-bye.
Good-bye to Lovers, different jobs, as we move on and move up.
Good-bye to marriages that out lasted the reason for being there.
To children that no longer need us or in some cases,
don't want us there for one reason or another.
Then comes OUR own personal but inevitable Good-bye.
But, then again, I guess if you close your eyes and believe
And say it three times and scream out.
" I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE."
It will be true as the words of old where told
