To have a daughter is to have love deep in your heart

One touch from her can show you so much love ,

One touch from her can hurt you so deeply

A mother's love for her daughter is so great

You want nothing but the best for her,

You want her to have the best of life and all the love she will ever need

You want her to be happy with everything she touches in life

But there are times you have no control over what she will feel

Or where her journey will take her

So you do your best to give her all your love while she is growing up

When you have this love for your child it stays in your heart forever

When she starts her journey in life

You wish her the best and ask God to watch over her.

There is nothing we can do for she has to see her life as she see's it

I will pray to God to show her the way to be happy and safe

One thing I will remember is the love I feel inside

That love always brings a smile to my face

For you see when I think of her I see the little girl that I once held in my arms

The little baby girl that needed me so

I will always love you my little girl
